Hi, I'm Naomi

Naomi Stewart, small-business software reviewer

Naomi Stewart writes plain-English software guides for small-business owners. I started doing this because I watched too many friends with shops and clinics overpay for tools they could not figure out. My goal is simple: explain the choice in everyday words, set the tools up myself, and tell you what I would do.

I am not an engineer and I do not write for engineers. I write for the person who runs a business, answers the phone, and does not have time to read a 40-page manual. If a tool needs a manual to set up, that counts against it on this site.

How this site works

CallTrackingWare reviews call tracking software the way a busy owner would judge it. I score every tool on the same four things: how easy it is to use, what it costs, the features that matter, and the support. I sign up, set up a real tracking number, make real calls, and write down what happened. Then I compare the cost at the same number of phone numbers.

I also fold my "how I tested" notes right into the homepage and these pages, so there is no separate wall of methodology to dig through. You can see my reasoning as you read.

How I make money, plainly

This site is reader-supported. When you sign up for a tool through one of my links, I may earn a small referral fee, at no extra cost to you. That fee does not change my ranking. I am an independent reviewer and affiliate. I do not own CallScaler, I am not employed by it, and I am not part of any company I review. If a competitor beat CallScaler on my four checks, it would rank first and I would say so plainly.

Who this site is for

This is for small-business owners: service businesses, clinics, law offices, contractors, local shops. If you spend money to get found and you want to know which effort makes the phone ring, you are in the right place. If you run a giant marketing team with a full-time analyst, you may want a more technical site than mine.

My promise to you

I will keep the language plain, I will tell you when a tool is more than you need, and I will point you to the right pick even when it is not the one that pays me. My current favorite for most owners is CallScaler, and the full reasons are in its review. If that ever changes, this page and the rankings change with it.
